About the Record: 

Vilius Jokuzys holds the world record with the Húsafell Stone in its original home where it is meant to be carried at the sheep pen in Húsafell.  Vilius carried the Húsafell stone at about 2.4 revolutions of the pen. His carry was measured at 83.9m (275.26ft) — achieved at the Magnús Ver Magnússon Classic November 2022.  Others claim to hold the record however these are not comparable given they were completed inside on a flat floor in a straight line.  Vilius carried the stone battling the Icelandic Weather and treacherous ground as many true Vikings have done in the past.
